Software Architect (Hybrid Budapest)

Your Responsibilities

- Collaborating with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new products
- Developing high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
- Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
- Communicate all concepts and guidelines to the team successfully
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to engineers
- Planning, tracking and scheduling software deliverables
- Locating and directing solutions for critical challenges
- Use a proactive approach to common challenges and by continually researching best practices in coding

What We are Looking For
- Experience in designing and implementing software applications
- Experience in software development and coding in various languages (JavaScript, Python)
- Experience overseeing customized development of processes for multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail
- Professional experience analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, and overseeing plans to improve them
- High quality organizational and leadership skills
- Proficient written and oral English skills (B2), additional languages are a plus
We have offices both in Budapest and New York, but we primarily serve clients from Budapest. We have implemented a hybrid work schedule, where we have 2 days of mandatory office presence when we focus on specific projects, and 3 days of optional home office per week
